How to Trigger Android Shortcuts with Mudra Link Gesture Mapper

On Android, you can trigger custom actions like launching apps, toggling settings, or running automations using Mudra Link gestures mapped to keyboard commands, with the help of third-party apps like Key Mapper.

This guide shows you how to set it up.

Step 1: Install Key Mapper on Your Android Device

Download Key Mapper: Unleash Your Keys! from the Google Play Store.

📲 Download Key Mapper from Google Play

Once installed:

  1. Open Key Mapper.

  2. Allow the required accessibility permissions.

Step 2: Create a New Key Mapping

  1. In Key Mapper, tap + Add new mapping.

  2. Under Trigger, tap Add Key and press the keyboard shortcut you want to assign (e.g., Ctrl + Shift + A).

  3. Under Action, select what you want to happen—like:

    • Launching an app

    • Toggling Wi-Fi or Bluetooth

    • Simulating a touch

âś‹ Step 3: Map That Keyboard Shortcut to a Mudra Link Gesture

  1. Open the Mudra Link app.

  2. Go to Gesture Mapper.

  3. Choose a gesture you’d like to use.

  4. Enter the same shortcut (e.g., Ctrl + Shift + A) you set up in Key Mapper.

Now, whenever you perform the gesture when connected to your Android device, Mudra Link will send the shortcut to your Android device—and Key Mapper will trigger the action you assigned.
