With Mudra Link’s Gesture Mapping feature, you can trigger macOS Shortcuts using gestures mapped to keyboard commands.
Here’s how to set it up:
Step 1: Add a Keyboard Shortcut to a Shortcut in macOS
-
Open the Shortcuts app on your Mac.
-
Double-click the shortcut you want to use.
-
Click the Info (ⓘ) button in the top right.
-
Click “Add Keyboard Shortcut”.
-
Press the key combination you want to assign (e.g.,
Control + Option + S
).

⚠️ Some keyboard shortcuts are reserved by macOS and cannot be overridden. If your combo doesn’t work, try a different one.
Step 2: Map That Keyboard Shortcut to a Gesture in Mudra Link
-
Open the Mudra Link desktop app.
-
Go to the Gesture Mapper.
-
Select the gesture you want to use.
-
Enter the same key combo you assigned in the Shortcuts app.
🖐️ Step 3: Trigger Your Shortcut with a Gesture
You’re all set! Anytime you perform the mapped gesture, your Mac will recognize it as the keyboard shortcut—and run the Shortcut.
You can use this to open apps, start Focus Mode, control HomeKit devices, and more—hands-free.
