Follow these step-by-step instructions to connect your Mudra Band to your Apple Vision Pro and enhance your experience with touchless control.
Step 1: Enable AssistiveTouch on Apple Vision Pro
- Open the Settings app on your Apple Vision Pro.
- Navigate to Accessibility.
- Select Interactions.
- Tap on AssistiveTouch.
- Toggle AssistiveTouch to On.
- Scroll down and ensure that Perform Touch Gestures is turned On.
Step 2: Customize Pointer Control
- Go back to the Interactions menu.
- Select Pointer Control.
- Customize your pointer’s color and width according to your preference.
- You can also adjust the pointer size and scroll speed under Pointer Control.
Step 3: Configure Hand Input Settings
- Go to Eyes & Hands in the Settings menu.
- Select Hand Input.
- Choose the hand you are not wearing your Mudra Band on (e.g., if you're wearing the Mudra Band on your right hand, select the left hand only).
- This ensures that the Apple Vision Pro only recognizes gestures from your non-Mudra hand.
Step 4: Connect the Mudra Band to Apple Vision Pro
- Open the Mudra Band app on your iPhone.
- Go to My Devices.
- Select Add Device and choose iPad. (the Apple Vision Pro must be connected as an iPad device for it to work currently). Follow the steps in the app to complete the connection.
- Turn on Air-Touch through the Mudra Band watch app.
Step 5: Use the Mudra Band with Apple Vision Pro
- Once connected, you should see the pointer on your Apple Vision Pro.
- Use Mudra Air-Touch gestures to control your Apple Vision Pro seamlessly.
